Apologize is a pop song by OneRepublic found on their debut album Dreaming Out Loud. The record producer Timbaland has since released a remixed version of the song on hus album Shock Value which reached the number 1 position in Australia, Canada, Germany, New Zealand, Sweden and Turkey.
According to OneRepublic's MySpace blog, the video for "Apologize" with Timbaland was filmed on September 14, 2007 and hit television in early October. The video had its premiere on UK music channel 'B4'.
The music video for "Apologize" was shot in a recording studio where it shows Ryan Tedder singing in the studio and the other band members playing instruments to the music. Tedder is also playing the piano while singing while Timbaland remixes the song while the camera circles One Republic.
The European version features clips of the film KeinOhrHasen, which stars Til Schweiger.
The video made its broadcast debut on VH1's Top 20 Countdown on October 27, 2007.
