Atomic Kitten - Feels So Good

Feels So Good is the second album by Atomic Kitten and features the hit singles "It's OK!", "Tide Is High (Get The Feeling)", "The Last Goodbye/Be With You" (double A-side) and "Love Doesn't Have To Hurt".

The style of the album is comparable with the first album and consists mainly of pop ballads, happy songs and one cover version. After releasing a cover version of "Eternal Flame" on the previous album, Susanna Hoffs from The Bangles decided to write a track for the album called "Love Doesn't Have To Hurt". The girls team up with Rob Davis for the songwriting and production of several songs and as a result Kylie Minogue with whom he frequently collaborated, also donates a song, "Feels So Good", to the album. Out of gratitude and because they feel it is a great title, the girl band decided to name the album after that song.

The album performed well on the charts with both Feels So Good sold nearly Platinum in first week and the single "The Tide Is High" becoming number 1 in the same week selling 145,000 copies in the first week, they were the second girl band to enter the no. 1 in both singles and albums charts at the same time (after Spice girls and before Sugababes) . During the release of the single "The Last Goodbye/Be With You", the album climbed back to the Top 10 in two weeks. The album is certified double Platinum. The album was further promoted with the simultaneous release of the book Atomic Kitten: So Good, So Far by Ian McLeish in which the girl group gave an insight look into their early career.

Najoua Belyzel - Gabriel

Najoua Belyzel (born Najoua Mazouri 15 December 1981 in Nancy, France) is a French pop rock/electronic singer of Moroccan descent.

Najoua was born in Nancy, and grew up in a large family with three sisters and two brothers. Her father is Moroccan and her mother is Egyptian. Since childhood, she had shown an interest in music, and by age 14, had begun writing her own songs.

Najoua originally studied law beginning in 2001 at the University of Nancy, but left for Paris to pursue a career in music. She met some success after a casting call when she joined the group Benoît, who had a successful single called Tourne-toi Benoît, which touched on the subject of homosexuality. The later singles from the group, however, only met moderate success, and eventually the group parted ways.

Later she met the songwriter Christophe Casanave, whose work had already been performed by popular French acts Steeve Estatof and Marc Lavoine. The two worked together on a song called Stella, which would later appear on her debut album.

The song "Née de l'amour et de la haine" was Belyzel's first demo in 2002.

In 2005, Najoua released her first single titled Gabriel, an electric-pop dance track. The song became a huge hit in France, and peaked at number three on the Top 40 charts in France. On 29 May 2006, she released her debut album titled Entre deux mondes, which debuted at #7 on the French charts and at #1 on the iTunes France music store. In late 2006 and early 2007, she embarked on a tour across France and Francophone Europe to promote her album.

Najoua Belyzel released a new single, Quand revient l'été, on 18 June 2007. She will release a new album later in 2007.

She has been compared to Mylène Farmer.

Najoua is constantly being criticised for her live performances, which she always mimes.

Steps - It's The Way You Make Me Feel

It's The Way You Make Me Feel was the 12th single released by Steps, a pop group from the UK. It is also the fourth song to be released from their third album Buzz. The single's b-side, a cover of Marvin Gaye's "Too Busy Thinking About My Baby", was taken from the Motown Mania compilation.

The music video for the song featured the band members and supporting actors/dancers reenacting scenes from the movie Dangerous Liaisons. Band members H and Lee took turns playing Valmont, while Claire, Faye and Lisa took interchanging turns as the characters of Merteuil, Tourvel and Cécile.

This song debuted at #72 on the British charts in the final chart of 2000, as some record stores made the single available a week early, and it sold enough copies to reach the lower end of the chart. The following week, after it was properly released on New Year's Day 2001, the single jumped 70 spots, peaking at #2 and spent 11 weeks on the charts.

Candy Shop is a dance-pop song recorded by American singer Madonna for her forthcoming album. It was co-written and co-produced by Pharrell Williams, according to Timbaland (another producer on the album), although some websites credited it erroneously to Timbaland and Justin Timberlake. A low-quality seventeen-second snippet of the track was leaked to the Internet on July 26, 2007. Madonna's representative said she had no comment on "Candy Shop", and that the track listing of the album wouldn't be finalized until the songs were recorded and mixed. The full, un-edited version of Candy Shop was leaked in mid-September on several file-sharing online networks. The song includes a short rap at the end, presumably sung by Pharrell.
