Taking Chances is the forthcoming English album from Céline Dion, scheduled for release between November 9 and 12, 2007 in Europe and on November 13, 2007 in North America. It's her 13th English album and 35th in total. Dion's latest English longplay Miracle was released in October 2004.
Taking Chances was written by Kara DioGuardi and David A. Stewart from Eurythmics, and produced by John Shanks.
The song was first recorded by Platinum Weird, a musical collaboration between DioGuardi and Stewart. It was included on their Platinum Weird album and released as the third single in 2007.
Kara DioGuardi also wrote and co-produced with Emanuel "Eman" Kiriakou "Surprise, Surprise," slated for release on Dion's forthcoming album.
