"You" is a song by the 2008 Australian Idol winner, Wes Carr. It was released as a digital download on November 23, 2008, and then as a CD single on December 3rd. It debuted at number 3 on the ARIA Singles Chart, number 1 on the ARIA Australian Chart, and number 2 on the ARIA Digital Chart. It also knocked "Poker Face" off the number 1 spot on the Australian iTunes Downloads Chart very soon after its release, and soon after, was overtaken by "Poker Face" and returned to number 2. "You" was certified Gold in its second week on the charts.
The song reached the number 1 spot on the ARIA Charts on the week beginning 15th December 2008.
